Getting started is the tough part. Envisioning a room or four and the general vicinity of the wet bar is the first step, but we also suggest getting a copy of your blueprints if they are available so you can draw out exactly what you would like built. If you don't already have a copy available, you can check with your county assessor; who should have this on file. Here are some links to local assessors' offices - some basic blueprints are available online for some counties. For the others, you may have to call or stop in to get a copy.

Many of our clients are not able to obtain copies of their blueprints. If this is the case for you, no problem! We can come and take measurements for you. We will create both 2D and 3D models of your basement so you can lay it out the way you want, then see a picture of it before we begin. Your plans will include all measurements, walls and half walls, stairs, bathrooms (sink placement, counter placement, toilet placement, and shower/bath placement), wet bar, electrical, lighting, and doors. These plans are required in order to obtain the permits from the county, so we like to get the project started off right by creating them at the beginning.
